The issue that was fixed was DNN-3789

I can tell you that with the string that you gave me for web.config detection browser detection works

I can also say that the string you gave is the default string we ship with in web.config for AUM so can you tell me how you're using AUM in the Platform?

Ok Ken,

I finally got it! I tried a lot of different things, but one of these things was to install a fresh 7.2.2 version, activate content localization with the same language pack as my production website and compare web.config files and also databases. The change that I think did the job is to not only set "domain.com/en-us" and "domain.com/fr-ca" as primary alias for each language but also set the "domain.com" as primary alias without a specific language set.

After that, I cleared my cookies and visit the website again and it finally worked. I tried to change my language back to english, clear cookies and it worked again.

Finally, I can say that there's no more problem with browser language detection in version 7.2.2 but if it can help somebody with the same issue, why not!

Thanks again for your time!

As Ken noted, this problem appears to have not actually been fixed yet. I've therefore given it priority in 7.3.0, due to ship this quarter. We'll try to have it fixed. You can become a watcher in JIRA. https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/brow...
On behalf of DNN, my apologies for the mis-info and bug.
