So I created a new Security Group in DNN and I have it syncing with Active Directory. I gave this Security Group Edit Permissions on all pages, but I guess I missed something... When I click on Add New Page, I cannot select the parent page. I get a little red circle with a lin through it basically telling me I do nt have permissions to do this. How can I allow this security group to add new pages and select their parent?

Thanks

So DNN supports the granting of EDIT permissions per page.
Not by granting of page level EDIT permissions via a Security Group

Are you saying that when you have a user signed in via AD and that is a member of a Security Group AND has "create page" permissions, the Parent Page is not selectable when creating a page?

How do I set the Create Page Permissions??

I am using the Community edition of DNN... I would rather not set the user as admin, but I guess I will need to?

A complete explanation of how page permissions can be set.

http://www.dnnsoftware.com/help#Docum... Page permissions

For your case, you'd likely want to log in as Host or Administrator

Add the User by Name or the Security Role to the page(s) you wish.

Now those users can administer those pages

Hey Ken, I had read that, but I think the problem stems from the fact that I am using the Community (free) edition. I only see View and Edit under page permissions...

I guess the only thing I can do is give them admin rights, which is obviously way too much control to just add and edit webpages...
