DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.SynchronizeFileSystem, DOTNETNUKE. The Synchronization locks up my server and uses 100% of the processor. When I disable the this scheduler, the server returns to normal. When I run the file synchronization manually from the File Manager module, it also takes forever to complete. There is something definetely wrong with this! I'm using DNN 3.2.2. I saw on the ASP.Net forum that there is an XMLViewState program that may be causing this. This is a very important part of the DNN system, and I don't know why it would be allowed to continue this way. I know I'm not the only one experiencing this.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

I too am having this exact same issue and disabling Scheduler clears it up immediately.  I can't find any more information about XMLViewState (I probably read the same posts.)  How do we fix this?
