Hi everyone,

Hope someone can give me a solution here. I am trying out the social groups module on DNN 7.2.2 community edition, and when a user posts a comment he can see his own comment instantly. But if a different user makes a new posts other users cannot automatically see the comment without refreshing the page. What I need is an Ajax style refresh, i.e. whenever any user makes a post/comment all other users who are on that group page should automatically see the new posts on the Journal, without having the need to refresh or re-visit the page. Is this functionality possible to implement on the social groups module?

I'm afraid such functionality isn't built in -whilst that can be achieved by some sort of service framework based "polling" service (in fact evoq social has a simple one where an "updates available" link appears), we don't have such a service in place at the moment. You'd be best to log this as a request to http://www.dnnsoftware.com/voice to see if it is a popular request, in which case it's more likely to be introduced in a future version
