Hi,

How to enter tags into the taxonomy manager in different languages?
Is this taxonomy manager available only in 1 (default) language?
Do you must enter all the different language tags into 1 manager?

Regards, Ton

sorry, although Taxonomy has been added to DNN about the same time, content localization was implemented, Taxonomy is not able to handle multiple languages. Peter Donker tried a new approach for Blog 6, but IMHO for a proper solution there is a need for translating tags instead of having different catalogues per language.

and so, is it any plan that Taxonomies would receive multilingual support some time soon ?

otherwise, is there an alternative for native DNN Taxonomies (and Folksonomies) that implement multilingual support ?

It is sad to see, how different developments of DNN seem so un-integrated. I am making my bets with DNN to develop my portal with DNN instead of WordPress, but things like this make me wonder if I am mistaking

I am not Aware of any activities to implement ML support for taxonomy (besides the custom solution in the blog module, which is IMO not the best solution for the platform).
