Hello,

I succesfully upgraded DNN from 07.02.00 (607) to 07.02.02.

It seems that all websites works. It seems that connection with SQL database works, because I can create new pages.  But Host settings does not work. The following error appeared on Host Settings page:

Host Settings

Error: Host Settings is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format at System.String.Format(String format, Object arg0) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Host.HostSettings.OnLoad(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I would appreciate your suggestions.

Based on a quick look at the OnLoad method in HostSettings.ascx.cs for DNN v 7.2.2, I suspect that the localization resource file DesktopModules/Admin/HostSettings/App_LocalResources/HostSettings.ascx.resx or a language or portal specific localized resource file for HostSettings.ascx is missing the new localization key "maxUploadSize.Error" and its value which has a default of "Maximum Upload Size must be between 12 and {0}". This localization key and value was added in DNN 7.2.2. Most likely the new version of the resource file was not extracted from the update package or copied to the server during the upgrade. Another possibility if the site is using a language pack other than the default en-US is that this key/value has not been added to the specific language's resource file for HostSettings.ascx.

Thank you!

I replaced wrong file DesktopModules/Admin/HostSettings/App_LocalResources/HostSettings.ascx.resx with a good one from another properly working DNN 07.02.02 portal. (The same file is also in DNN_Platform_07.02.02_Upgrade.zip file.)
