I want to modify the business card template so that the users can enter a URL for the business.  I tried modifying the Forms.html and Forms.xml to add the URL token but wasnt not having any luck.  Is this the correct place?

I would also like to make it so that the URL and LOGO are not required.  How would I do this?  I assume it would be in the forms.xml file by adding some settings but I couldnt find anything talking about this in the documentation.

Hello Larry

If you are not using a file then the Filename is used as the URL for an entry.
I actually thought there was no way of making something mandatory - is this not the case in the Business card logo?

Rodney,

When i tired to omit filling in a piece of information I was unable to save the record even though I did not get any type of message telling me this field was required.  I just assumed that all fields were required based on that.

by default, most input fields are required. You can turn off the validator for an input field by adding a setting named 'Required' in the Form.xml file for the template you are using.

For example: to make the summary field not required .. add a setting to the SUMMARY option named Required and set it's value to false

NOTE: This feature was added in release 3.1.10 of the Repository module.
