In the release notes I can read  this.

..enhanced DDR Menu to be Touch Friendly for Mobile and Tablets

However then I test sites with Windows 8.1 IE 11 it works very bad with touch and submenus.

Should it work?

Or is the release notes just wrong? Or just not tested?

When I read the issue tracker it looks like DNN folks didn't think it was an issue and closed the issue.

For me its an issue.

Thanks

Jan

ps. By the way not so much community these days. Maybe time for DNNCorp to contact some community experts. ds.

that came from a community pull request (which can be viewed at https://github.com/dnnsoftware/Dnn.Pl... ) - it uses http://osvaldas.info/drop-down-naviga... which indicates it should work for IE9+

Thanks Cathal,

I am not sure if I understood.

Anyhow it does not work. So I asume the release notes is wrong or the release is not tested.

Didnt find the double tap code in the release either.

it's applied directly to the gravity skin so only applies to that (i.e. it's more of a reference example than a new core service, though other skins can target the js if they are being deployed onto 7.2.2 or later

What is important to remember is that the DDRMenu is just a framework.  Each skin and menu can load their own JavaScript and CSS and it is this JS and CSS which must be made Touch friendly.  What specific skin are you running Jan where you are seeing the problem?
