Hi there,

 I am using DNN 07.00.02 (1) and I have used the default banner that comes with installation (it is an HTML module).  I would like to resize the banner and move it to the left pane, so I can add another module to the right sidebar.

Please guide me from where I have access to this module size.

Thanks,

sanaz

Hello Sanaz;

All the module edit controls area accessible while logged in as Host

 Log in as Host

Go to the page where Banners is installed

At top right hover over "Edit Page" and click the big blue button "Edit Page"

you'll see the page change with these icons appearing:

Hover over the "Pencil" icon in the center

Select "Banner Settings"

The 2nd and 3rd last settings are "Row Height" and "Column Width"

you can control these by numeric character input

You'll likely need to play with these to get your desired effect

To move the banner you click on the icon to the right of the gear setting and select "Left pane"

You can also drag n' drop the module from it's current position to a different position by setting the page to "View in Layout Mode"

 Now you can drag the module to any other visible pane on the page

Hi Ken,

 Thanks for your prompt respond.  Actually this is an HTML module and moving it to the leftpane wont work because the size of its container.

I found my answer though:

in the Portals\_default\Skins\Gravity\skin.css I changes the size to required one:

 The original was:

 {

position: relative;

z-index: 0;

width: 980px;

padding: 20px 0px 0px 0px;

margin: 0 auto;

}

    #example {

    position:relative;

    width:980px;

    height:380px;

}

    .slides_container {

    display:none;

    position:relative;

    width:980w:hidden;

    }

  .slides_container a {

    display:block;

    width:980px;

    height:380px;

}

I think today I am asking questions and answering them myself!

  /* Next/Prev buttons

    -------------------------------------*/

    #slides .next, #slides .prev {

    display: block;

        position: absolute;           I changes it to relative to make it work in Google chrome!

    width: 20px; height: 20px;

    bottom: 9px; left: 12px;

    padding: 0;

    z-index:12;
