Hi,

I installed v7.00.06 on my account at Godaddy using a Windows web hosting account with IIS7 and SQL. I used thier DNN version within their applications section and it went off smoothly. The starter site is up and running and I am able to make changes (without upgrading I am having that <br> tag issue). I have the upgrade notification but have not upgraded.

My issue ... I was told to install dnn in a folder off the root which I called 'dnn' . So ... the site is working only that to get to it I have to type www.domain.com/dnn. HOW DO I FIX THIS? Someone told me I can use .htaccess to accomplish this, however I don't know how to configure this file.

Does anyone know how to fix this. The IIS control panel does not have an entry to select the site folder like one has in the IIS on a local installation.

Any and all assistance in welcome.

Thanks.

I'm going to go ahead and just throw this out there.

Get off of GoDaddy hosting ASAP.

I use GoDaddy for all my domain registrations (and I have far too many) but their hosting completely blows and you would be better served by using a host that actually knows DNN.

I use www.appliedi.net for all my hosting.

I realize that doesn't solve your problem, but long term it actually will make you much happier with your choice to use DNN, I can assure you.
