How can I get the Event Detail New Page to Use Custom Portal Skin and not Default Portal Skin?

As it is, the Events module is using DNN's default skin for the detail page instead of my custom skin and I would like to have all events go to a separate layout as available in my portal skin.

Have a look heren about skinning the Events module:

Thanks but that is not the solution to the problem I asked about. That is a solution for styling the events presentation on an already skinned page.

Let's say, for example, I have an events listing on my homepage. My homepage template is skinned with a custom DNN skin.

The events listing is styled using the theme setup you are referring to in the link you provided.

HOWEVER, my issue is with when I click on a "read more" link to go to the Event Detail New Page. That Event Detail New Page goes to a new page (with all of the event details) but that page uses DNN's default skin template -- NOT the custom skin that I am using on the rest of my portal.

Have you read the paragraph about 2 up on the same documentation page? It explains how the Events details are display and the various tick/untick boxes.

Yes, I've selected that feature. Still reverts to the default DNN skin.

It talks about a setting "Use Module Container & Skin", but I am not seeing that option appear when I select "Event Detail New Page".
