I have tried to upgrade my DNN site from 7.1.0 to 7.3.0 and ran into a problem.  The upgrade wizard runs fine and executes the DB scripts and Extensions.  It says 100% success.  When I click on the  visit site it does not come up.  It says DNN error.  Nothing else???   It looks like it loads the top graphic only.  See attached.  I restored it and tried the upgrade to 7.2.2 to see and I get the same thing.

I am able to get into the site by going into the login URL.

I am able to log in and do everything on site.  When I log out, the default  home page gives that error.

Very Weird.    I think it must be an extension or a setting somewhere.

Can anyone help ???

Log in and look at your event viewer to see if you can get more details about the error.

Also, is the error limited to just the home page? Do other pages load fine when you're logged out? If so, I would look at the modules on the home page like you suggested. Maybe remove them, one at a time, until you verify they are OK with this version of DNN.

There have been modification in URL management, please make sure you have specified a portal alias in website settings (or one per language for multilingual sites), in Site settings ensure, there is a home page specified, which needs to be different than splash page.

Also...  I can log into the homepage by going directly into the Login URL.  Once in I can do everything like I could beforehand.  I can go to every section and choose menu options, etc...  As soon as I log out and go to the homepage it gives an error.

The error says "DNN ERROR"   That is it.  Then it has a button that says return to site.

The only really modules I have on the front page is Iframe and HTML.  I do have an RSS feed but it is hidden to users.
