We are using 5.4 DNN, and what I need to do is to dis-activate some users by execute the SQL statement.

Meaning we have drop down to let user select user name to be dis-activate. Then run the SQL to update the database.

1, which tables in SQL i need to look at for disactivation?

2, In current DNN, which stored procedure is used when the user unauthorized the account in DNN?

Thanks

there are a number of tables involved to delete a user.
To deactivate (soft-delete) him, you need to
UPDATE UserPortals SET isdeleted = 0 WHERE UserID IN (SELECT UserID FROM USERS WHERE LoginName = 'myusername')

Hi
You can look into the stored procedures "DeleteUserPortal" and "RemoveUser" with caution.

Thanks,

Thank You. that is working to me. Because of the soft delete, it raises another question related to New Letter Dnn Modules. This new Letter modules allows user to select the ROLE to send bulk email (new letters). In this case, if I already soft delete a particular email (isDelete = 0), will the new letter modules still send email and filter isDelete=0 out?

I would expect the module to exclude soft deleted users - I am not 100% sure - when I reworked the module for DNN 4.x, soft delete was not present.
