We re looking to set up a Web Farm with DNN Platform on IIS.

After an exhaustive online search and the official DNN website, we found two documents worth some help.

  1. http://old.datasprings.com/resources/...
  2. http://www.dnnsoftware.com/Portals/0/...

The first document doesnt go much into the details and the second one is for the Enterprise verison aka DNN Evoq Content.

So my questions are:-

  • Does the DNN Platform supports web farm like DNN Evoq?
  • If yes will be guide in (2) be valid for DNN Platform?
  • The guide refers to a setting "Host > Professional Features > Manage Web Servers page" which is not present in the DNN Platform. How can i proceed without this setting?

Any suggestions will be of great help.

please do not cross post the same question in answers and forum.

DNN platform does support web farms, but does not include a distributed caching provider, you might need to use a 3rd party extension for it, e.g. http://ariciedcp.codeplex.com/
