I'm running a site upgraded to DNN 7.3.1 and I cannot find a way "Unassign" the Modules "Advanced Settings" or "Module Creator".

Neither Module contains the "Premium Module" section where they can be Assigned/Unassigned.

The site has many Child Portals and I don't like for the Portal Administrators to see most of the modules so I unassign them.  These two modules have no relevance for most users and I need to find a way to hide them.

Any suggestions?

That doesn't help because you would have to remove it from EACH site instead of marking it as Premium and removing it from all sites there. Some of the newer modules DON'T allow you to do this...something I've complained about (and posted in the bug tracker) before, but my complaints have, thus far, been ignored. (I had another issue where they BROKE the adding/removing of modules as Premium due to an incorrect change in a SQL statement....I provided a fix....and was told that the version of DNN (5) was not going to have any more updates. 2 months' later, there was a new DNN5 update....without my fix (a simple change of the SQL statement).

You can use the SQL module or Reports module to trigger a DELETE statement if you know the DesktopModuleID of what you want to remove from a site.

For example: DELETE FROM PortalDesktopModules WHERE DesktopModuleID IN (#,#,#,#)

David, there should still be an option to remove portal assignments for each module in Host > Extensions, when entering module details
