I have just installed 7.3 and when I add a HTML module and try to add images, all the buttons in the image control are grayed out.  I can't add a new folder or upload an image.

Where are the security settings that allow me to do these things?  I am sure I missed one somewhere.

Thanks

please check file settings in Admin > File management:
- perform a recursive sync of current folder and subfolders
- right click root folder, check and re-save permissions.

Thank you Sebastian.

I tried this but didn't experience any change.  The Telerik HTML editor does not have any active buttons on Image Manager (and that only showed one folder rather than the 5 in the root for the portal), Document Manager (showed all the folders but they, and the buttons at the top of the popup screen were all inactive), Medial Manager etc.

It appears there must be somewhere for me to tell the HTML editor that it is allowed to add images, documents etc.

We use images and documents in our HTML modules very extensively as well as using the Telerik components in our other development projects and I have never seen this before.

another option might be installing CKeditor (dnnckeditor.codeplex.com), which is very well supported.

Thank you Sebastian.
My clients (the content authors) are used to using the Telerik control and, since these people are resistant to change for the most part, the idea of changing their most used tool for another is not really an option. In addition to that, we use the Telerik editors throughout our application and having the same functionality in both 'systems' is a huge plus with user-uptake.

To make sure that the picture is clear, NONE of the controls on the image/document/media manager pages work. I can't add folders, navigate to other folders, upload files, refresh the list or even close the window by clicking on the button. I have to close it with the close box (which, thankfully, is the only control that works). I am sure it is a permission thing somewhere. Is there somewhere that I have to set the permissions for the editor?
