Hello

We have recently upgraded a site from DNN 5.6.8 to 7 without too many problems.

There is one issue that I can't find a solution to - we use a  module on more than one page and it has a link to our login page - previously we used

<a id="dnn_dnnLOGIN_cmdLogin" class="OtherLinks" href=" __doPostBack('dnn$dnnLOGIN$cmdLogin','')"><strong>Login</strong></a>

to ensure the user was redirected back to the page they were on after login. This no longer works. Is there a way to pass this information now ?

Thank you

Vicky

Vicky,

What code are you using to generate the login link?  I see html which indicates you are using a linkbutton but you don't show any of the code behind.  More details on exactly how this is coded would help in troubleshooting the issue.

Hi,
We don't use any code. What you see is what we were using before the upgrade. It is a module which uses HTML templates and this always worked as a way to link to login page and return the user correctly.
Do you know of any way to do this via HTML in dnn 7
Thank you

Hi Sebastien
Unfortunately that doesn't work either - I need it to return to the page the original link was on after the user has logged in and that doesn't seem to happen ?
Thanks
Vicky
