Does anyone know a simple way to get either the DDR Menu or Ventrian child Links to show horizontally?  Can't seem to pick it out in the massive amount of style sheets. I am sure this is a simple question I have been Googling for over an hour...

 Thanks,

DDR Menu can have it's own style sheet which is often included in a separate directory in the skin folder.  What CSS or template to change depends on which skin you are using.

Yes, I am aware that modules can have their own style sheets, however, this seems to inherit those settings and instead of spending hours of my time hunting and pecking through the massive skin.css and default.css I was hoping someone had been there before me. Thanks.

Beth,

This is fairly straightforward, but (for DDR) I need to know if you are using DDR in a skin, or the module form.

I'm going to assume that you are using the module, as you also mention the Ventrian Child Links module.

Start by specifying the ULTokens template for the DDR Menu. You may need to download that from the basic collection of templates -- it's on CodePlex.

Having done that, then menu will render its links as an unordered list (UL).

Next you will need to style the list. For starters, style the li to display:inline-block and that will get you a horizontal array. You will need to identify a class of Id that you can use to target the ul for the menu -- look at the page source. There are lots of other styles you will want to use. You can put them in portal.css for convenience.

I haven't used the Child Links module, so don't know if it uses ul. But, similar approaches should work.
