Hi Guys,
i have upgraded a local version of a 6x hosting site to 7.03.01 and it worked ok.

When I pushed it up to my hosting site I get the message below.

Any ideas on where I edit this pop3 server to get the site to start?

This is the bit of the message that I think counts.

OpenPOP.POP3.PopServerNotFoundException: Exception of type 'OpenPOP.POP3.PopServerNotFoundException' was thrown.

Thanks in advance

Peter

that's referencing a 3rd party module, so it would seem the issue is with that- as it's email related I would guess that it has a problem with reading the SMTP settings (which are encrypted since 7.2.0), I would contact whoever supplied the NHM/OpenPop component (it appears to be a scheduled task) and ask for an updated version that correctly uses the API to read the SMTP settings.

Hi Cathal,
thanks very much for the tip...About 10 years ago I bought NMH Webmail and it has hung around on the site ever since. I didn't use it after a while. For some reason it was failing the openmail command for a mail box I have not used for 10 years and this was more sensitive in 7.x. Seems strange.

It is fixed now and my 3 sites are all on 7.3.1. which is good. I have not upgraded the forums...I will just leave them as they are even though they are so old. But now I can put the new blogs on etc and use responsive skins etc...so the upgrade was a bit overdue.

Thanks again and best regards

Peter
