I guys,

I'm new to DNN and I'd like to learn how to develope DNN Module.

I've watched the Task Manager Videos in the Library and learnt a little about module development. It look's pretty simple and I want to know more about advanced development skills.

Do you have any videos or books to recommend? or any other on-line resources will do.

Thanks

Wayne

Hi

You can get lots of videos from youtube as well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKCYRPuoXF4

About book I think there is no updated book is available. You can get some paid videos in Plura sight and DNN Hero.

About DNN API and features, you can go through wiki. (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/development_best_practices)

latest book about DNN is DNN 5.4 Cookbook (Packt Publishing). While most of the content is still valid, it doesn't cover new development approach in DNN 7 using DAL2 (PetaPoco), WebAPI, MVVM and Knockout, which is a totally new approach. I suggest having a look at http://www.bitboxx.net/
