hi

I am using DNN search on my site in 7.x.  If I type some text in the search box I get a drop down appear underneath.  I want to get rid of this and just send the user to the search results when they hit enter.

Anyone know how to do this? I can't see an obvious option on the skin object.

thanks

Gus

AFAIK, using DNN:search skin object with default settings does not include the results preview.

I stripped out all the settings and it still shows the preview

Came across this:

Looks like you can't turn it off and the author hacks the core DNN all over the place to customise his search. I am not doing that for obvious reasons.

I will have to code something up myself to do what I want unfortunately.

you may consider implementing your own skin object (should be easy based on default one).
