Today we've published the SurveyBox v.1.0  DNN module as developed by Fryslan Webservices.

SurveyBox offers easy integration of the Survey
Project's front end features into the DotNetNuke® CMS to present surveys, webforms and questionnaires to DNN users, respondents and voters.

Read the installation guide for more information.

The SurveyBox v. 1.0.0.0 is the first ever version of this brandnew DNN module. It is a first attempt to make surveys and webforms created through Survey Project accessible in an easy way through the DNN interface by making use of DNN's module structure.

Installation and initial setup are still rather complicated. The ambition for next releases is to simplify the installation proces and make it easier for module users to select the survey to be presented from a dropdownlist.

Even if its a first attempt our wish is it will serve it's purpose to a first group of "front-runners" and that their feedback will help to improve future versions.

Comments and feedback can be sent to:
mail@surveyproject.org or use the Forums of the Survey Project Community site at http://www.surveyproject.org. Downloads can be found at: http://spdnn.codeplex.com

The module has been submitted to the DNN Forge also awaiting authorisation.

UPDATE Survey™ Project DNN® Module: SurveyBox v. 1.1.0.0

It's hardly been a week since the SurveyBox version 1.0 was published but already life has been made much simpler with the SurveyBox v. 1.1 Install package for DNN 7.*

Installation now follows the regular guidelines for DNN extentions. No access to webroot directories and webfile editing needed except through the DNN interface and Extentions Wizard.

No need to search for SurveyId's. Just pick the survey from the dropdownlist on the Modules Settings Tab.

More SP features (e.g. upload answertype) will be added gradually over next releases. For now we hope to have improved useability.

Leave us your comments and feedback to improve on the next versions.

Kind regards,
W3DevPro™
