Greetimgs to everyone.
I've just started developing with DNN 4.0 and i would like some help .

I've developed a user control in VS 2005 that search an sql database in order to bring the names of cities . I want  to pass the language that the user  selects  from the site as  a variable  to my  user control  in order  to  bring  the  names  of the cities  to the appropriate  language  .

I register/upload  my user control using SmartDNNmodule .

Thank you in advance for your help.

You should be able to use System.Threading.Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture.Name, DNN sets this value whenever a locale is selected (either automatically, or through a languageselector)

cheers,

Erik
