I am trying to add some javascript to the header of a module. When it is in development, it works fine. When it is pushed to production, it is encoded and the browser fails to decode. Should I be going about this in a different way? (Not very familiar with DNN.)

Example:

 var idBtnMore = 'idBtnMore<%=ModuleId%>';

Should be:

  var idBtnMore = 'idBtnMore<%=ModuleId%>';

Thanks!

Are you putting your code in the header section in Module settings?

Yes, I am. I went back in to try some more things today and found it is no longer encoding, but then I ran into a different issue.

It doesn't seem to be applying the javascript file. It does when I am in testing and have not published it. Does anything need to be done to consider the javascript file (in a folder called 'scripts' on the root) to be live? I am publishing the using the direct publish method for the content after I tested through the changes. Or is there anything else you can think of that I am missing in the process to publish?

Thanks!
