I have an old site which has  been upgraded to 7.2.3 and includes quite a few portals (200), most of them using the blog module, and it is a VERY OLD version (3.x).  This version actually works, but throws some errors on the administrative side and needs to be upgraded.

So ... what is the preferred upgrade path for the Blog module?  I understand that the latest version doesn't use the "old" format of multiple sub-modules.  I assume that this means that an upgrade will require a significant restructuring of the existing portals.  Is this correct?  If so, if the next to latest version ok to use?  And to use with 7.3.2?

I'm running version 5 (the *old* version) as it works just fine with the latest DNN version. Have also been fixing few bugs from it as it is no longer supported by the original author. You can see this in action in http://www.juvander.fi/ilpo

If you don't want the *new* version, just upgrade to this older version.
