Arghhh - it was the old missing site alias!

Since this was a new server build I was just using the server IP, DNN did not like that. I added an alias to DNN for the new server name and all is happy! You'd think DNN would display some friendly message letting you know what was actually wrong!

After restore the database if your pages are not working then you must login with host and remove the friendly URL option under the DNN host settings
