Hello,

this is not a new idea (it's a wish dated from dnn5 at least) and I am just checking if any progress has been made or is planned in this area. The idea is to be able to grant permissions to modify page names and container titles to registered users or editors without granting them full admin rights. What is possible today and what is foreseen to do? If not, is there a workaround, please?

Thanks a lot

Franco

If a user has permission to edit page settings (edit permission on the page), he is able to edit page title as well.
For modules, the user needs edit permission for the module to enter module settings and edit title.

Granular permission Provider from www.oliverhine.com allows more specific permission (especially in DNN 7.3), but I am not sure about just editing titles.

I don't think this is in the plans for a core feature. You can use a third party module to accomplish this though. See DNNSharp Page Actions Extension.
