Hi can somebody please illustrate here how to develop my own skin? Is there a simple way to do this or I need to have hardcore coding knowledge to do this?

I am a simple guy who loves to surf the internet and make new friends also like criminal lawyers in kolkata

Hi Advo,

Just to add to what cathal said...

One of the best ways to learn how to create your own skin is to have a look to see how other skins are created.

The best starting place for this is the default skin of Dnn "Gravity" found in the /Portals/_default/Skins/Gravity folder for the skin and /Portals/_default/Containers/Gravity folder for the containers.

There is also the Video library, found here. Look for "Design (Skinning)", there is also videos that explain how to install skins as well here.

Other free skins you can install and have a look at are:

HammerFlex ( bootstrap skin) found here

DnnFoundation ( Zurb Foundation skin) found here

Both of the above use a responsive framework.

There is also some ope source skins to be found on codeplex.com that you could have a look at as well.

Hope this helps you out,

Regards,
