Many thanks Jarrod for the fix.

I have upgraded the DNN CE to 8 from 7.4.2 and had this problem of not able to load the modules from the Add New Modules, I followed your instructions and it worked for me!

In the Host - Extensions page there are two entries for the Page module:

In Use?
Pages 7.1.0 No
Pages 8.0.0 Yes

Although I removed the duplicate row but still the entries on the Host - Extensions page are still visible

I could not remove the duplicate module not in use (version 7.1.0) as the delete button is not visible for the 7.1.0 ... surprising for the version 8.0.0 only which is in use

Prior to the above I tried installing the Oliver Hine Advance Control Panel but it broke my website as it seem it is not compatible with DNN 8.x

Hello and thanks to all for the support on the issue so far. I've tried the Jarrod fix and didn't find any duplicate entries. I've exhausted searches for new options to no avail. Any further ideas?

I'm using 7.3.2

The Module Creator is the culprit in DNN 8. I removed both module entries from the database (version 1.0.1 and 8.0.1). This results in an error Incompatible Ajax.vb. Therefor I moved the Ajax.vb file from de App_Code folder and all the modules show in the Add New Module menu option. BTW I did an upgrade from 7.3 to 8.00.01

Upon closer inspection, there was a friendly name duplicate. Deleting the older version solved the issue. Thank you to all!
