I was looking through the DNN forums today and found that some Threads list that they have replies, but you cannot see them when you open the thread.

I suspect that the posts are moderated, and that the reply count is including replies that have not been accepted yet.

To be specific, I was looking at the Working with the Blog forum and at the XML Thread near the top.

I think that you are right- moderated posts appear in the forum view before they are approved.
I am not sure if this is the intended behavior or not, but it does lead to some (frequent) dead ends when trying to keep current on topics.

I re-wrote some of the SQL for threads but forgot about this issue. (I was focused on last post date, not approved status). I am aware and will look further into it.
