While not quite the same, the new Reports module in DNN 4.3.2, will allow you to create a dynamic sql script (any sql) and display a GridView of the resulting dataset.

The sql can only be defined by a Host user (due to security issues), but it should suit most situations.

I have DOYNETNUKE running on MS SQL 200 Server. Is it possible to access another database instance using the basic  Report Module?  And is it possible to access another type RDBMS like MySQl. Ths is use the report modeule to connect to an independednt MySQL instance? Please advise!

I was able to access another DB instance but adding USE <databasename> to the beginning or the SQL script.

Now I just want to access MySQL DB. Has anyone successed with access to MySQL and maintain existing connection to MS SQL?
