I've added several custom profile properties and set the visibility to ALL and default visibility to ALL.  When a user clicks on their name and clicks on edit profile - none of the custom profile properties appear.

If I go to site settings - User account settings - and edit the user profile there, then ALL the custom profile properties appear correctly.

Anyone know how to get them to appear for the users as well?

are you using default registration form or a custom one?
in the second case, you might need to add the properties to the form.

Thanks.  Registration is turned off for this site.
This is just when a user clicks their name after log in to update their profile.

Yes - each one is set to visible and also the default visibility set to all.

Perplexing!
