Thanks for your patience. Now you can download the new provider from the project page.

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/DotNetNukeProjects/ProviderFCKeditor0153/Downloads/tabid/936/Default.aspx

Please take note that this is not an upgrade. This is a new provider and could be installed without touching the old version from dnn.tiendaboliviana.com. It uses a new folder name and a new provider name entry.

Well, a new provider but working identically to the old one. Why? the answer is simple, this is now a new project and uses the DNN branding and this project is going to stay here for long time

I want to thank all people who had to answer all my recurrent requests. Now I will start to build a development team, so stay tunned.

How to install?

You must unzip the downloaded file and you will find a install.txt file in there. Follow the instructions step by step

What is new

  • A lot of fixes with the image and flash gallery
  • Fixed the custom CSS and XML file
  • Added support for Medium trust
  • Uses the new FCKeditor 2.3 (Really enhanced)
  • Includes more options to customize font names, font sizes, font formats and font styles
  • Other pending fixes

The new Gemini space will be created as well and you will be able to report bugs and suggestions there

Please use the forums to post comments and request help

Enjoy

Great job, easy to install. It's ok to delete FredCK.FCKeditorV2.dll from BIN once you're done moving over to the new one.

Yes, you can delete:

Delisoft.DSFCK2EditorProvider.dll and redCK.FCKeditorV2.dll if you are not using the old provider any more.

Just be sure to be using the new FckHtmlEditorProvider

hmm.

I can't unzip the downloaded file "FckHtmlEditorProvider_01.00.04_Install_UnzipThis"

It asks for a password, and then asks to replace files (I can't read all of the poorly formatted warning)

What gives?

**EDIT**

nevermind- I downloaded it again (from a different server) and it extracts just fine.

SORRY

::oops::
