So our site at mirror.bistromd.com suddenly has slider failure when NOT logged in. It works fine when you are logged in. I suspect a jquery issue as I'm getting the following error in the console:

Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function jquery.js?cdv=119:9032Tween.run jquery.js?cdv=119:9032Animation.tick jquery.js?cdv=119:8728jQuery.fx.timer jquery.js?cdv=119:9329Animation jquery.js?cdv=119:8795doAnimation jquery.js?cdv=119:9121jQuery.extend.dequeue jquery.js?cdv=119:1936next

When I'm logged in I am fine. This all started after I went to DNN Con and got the fun idea to try to use the Client Resource Management. Everything broke so I undid that part of it but I am still having this issue.  Any ideas?

Michael

I'm sure that this happens because something is not getting loaded.

Which slider are you using?

You could try comparing what is loaded when logged in and not logged in to try to figure this out.

We're using layerslider and everything is being loaded in both scenarios, jquery, jquery-ui, jquery-migrate...

Ok, here's what fixed it and I view this as a bug, albeit a very odd one. I had unchecked the "Enable Pop-Ups" under the Site Settings > Usability Settings because I hate modals. Apparently it also causes undefined things to happen to jquery. I have no idea what this checkbox does behind the scenes, but someone out to look into it. Anyway, turned them back on and all is ok, except that I have to still deal with the modal to edit things.

Cheers!
