Hi, 

I have installed DNN in my localhost in the link: http://localhost/dnnsite/

Also I created two sites with two aliases as: 

http://localhost/dnnsite/en (English Version of the site)

http://localhost/dnnsite/ar (Arabic Version of the site)

Now I need that whenever user enter the site name as http://localhost/dnnsite/, it should be automatically redirected to the English version (http://localhost/dnnsite/en). 

(The same will be implemented in Live Site like when ever user enter http://www.sitename.com/  should be redirected to http://sitename.com/en/)

Kindly tell me the possible ways to make it.

Thanks for your info. I got how it translates from one language to another language. But I don't want this. 

I actually need to maintain completely different language sites, no related contents between the two.

That is no translation need to be performed. Two portals (portal per language) need to be done, whose contents are not related each other, need independent editor for each site.  

When the site name is typed in URL (www.sitename.com) it just to redirect to to www.sitename.com/en/ (English portal). From there I can have a link to www.sitename.com/ar for arabic version. 

Please tell us the way to do the same.
