Hi Isa,

We are experiencing the same problem. Do you find a fix? Is this fixed in 7.4?

I noticed the 6156 issue is closed:

Should I reopen, provide a Jing video?

We would like to allow this as well and can edit / compile the code. Can you help us with some suggestions?

Thanks,
Chris

Here is a Jing Video showing the problem on a site running 7.3.3:

When I first installed the module, the admin account worked fine.  I then changed to a registered user account to see how the UI worked.  When I then logged back in as an Administrator I encountered the problems.

No, I haven't. Don't even know where to begin digging if you know what I mean.

After Sebastian suggested that is might have something to do with recent changes (at the time) thats very much when I left it in the hands of DNN crew.

We had a few issues with DAM module messing up permissions, not letting users access their files, and so on so forth. As far as I am aware nothing has been contributed in 7.4 towards fixing this issue. My best bet is DNN 8.

As a temporary work around I had to remove users from Administrators role which was perfectly acceptable for my use case. The only reason I had to grant admin privileges to selected few users is so that they can reset passwords for other users.

Doing so presented a few nasty repercussions for me. So, I had to modify a few core components to grant users the ability to do certain things that normally would require administrative rights.
