Steve, Be nice if you could share a little more about the nature of the "vulnerabilities" and the hosting company w/o putting you (or anyone else sites) at additional risk.

When I asked my web hosting service about possible problems on their side, they replied quite generally that there had been an IIS vulnerability without providing any details. I will ask them for more details. No guarantees whether they'll be willing to share the information or not.

You should ask your hoster about the risk - which files have the hackers been able to download.
If they were able to download your web.config file or your database, you might need to take additional actions

Agree with Sebastian... "they" have an obligation to be more forthcoming (at least to you) about the nature of how and what was compromised. If not you might remind them that you can be forthcoming with us (the DNN community) about who "they" are. ;-)

For those sort of files to be injected into your hosting - it would suggest that someone had FTP level access - most likely to your entire site.
I would be pushing your ISP for more detailed information on the potential exposure
- if that had that level of access they could also have your database passwords etc etc
