Hello there,

We have been using DNN for quite a while now and the versions we have used span from 4.9 to 6.
We seem to have an issue in version 4.9 of DNN with AD synchronisation.
We are using this version for our intranet and have noticed that when we add a new user or delete / update an existing user, the changes don't seem to take effect.We are using Windows 2003 Server, IIS 6, SQL Server 2008. We have also created various AD groups and corresponding Roles within DNN. When adding, the new user is correctly synchronised into DNN when added to AD, but is unable to view any pages until I, as the admin, access the user account within DNN. All I have to do is click the 'Update' button even though I have not changed anything and all seems good.However when for an existing user I change the 'Role' in AD, it does not synchronise with DNN and the new role is not assigned to the user. As a result, users are able to view areas of the intranet they should not have access to.I am not sure if this has been dealt with before hence the question.
I would highly appreciate any help in this.

Please try "AD-Pro Authentication" module, a third party extension from DNN Store
