Hello,

I have read a few articles about how DNN is going to be moving away from ASP.NET Server Controls and Web Forms, and will be focusing more on client-side development with MVVM and Web API:

My question is: is there a preferred JavaScript framework for client-side development in DNN?

I noticed that KnockoutJS is already included in DNN7+ by default. But I have also read some other articles saying that AngularJS is a better solution for DNN than KnockoutJS:

I personally prefer to use AngularJS - but since KnockoutJS is already included with DNN by default, I'm thinking that it might be easier to just use KnockoutJS.

Are there any plans to include AngularJS in a future release of DNN?

AngularJS would be my choice and it's adoption is gaining momentum within DNN. Some components will use knockout. Some won't. I don't think there is going to be a mandate to use one or the other.  Sure, there is a chance that both could be on the same page at the same time, but I haven't found any conflicts.

DNN is about freedom of choice. Just because they aren't including Angular, doesn't mean you can't.
