I would like to know if it is at all possible for users to log in to a dnn 7.3.4 site with their email address. I recently upgraded a 5.x.x site that previously allowed this. Did they have to make some change somewhere that got overwritten with the upgrade? I would like to re implement that function if at all possible. Any advice on this matter would be appreciated.

you may enable login by email address, but this will affect new users only.
I remember Philipp was working on an improvement for 7.4, but I am not aware of the current status.

Is there a toggle somewhere that would enable it that I am overlooking? Or are there some other changes I would have to make? I suppose at this point, it would be better than nothing.

there should be an option on top of third tab in site settings

I figured that is where that option would be. I have been through it thoroughly and I can find no such option. Could there have been some changes in the past that would have removed that option all together? I cant seem to find any articles or other resources indicating the existence of that option.
