DNN Caches a lot of data from the database. This is a performance boost but means that if the database content is changed 'under the feet of the application' it will continue with the old data unaware that it's now using stale data.

Recycling the app pool has everything start at ground zero again.

Here's an interesting new hurdle in my DNN adventure.

On any page but the home page, If I try to change the page settings, nothing happens, and I get this in the console:

Uncaught Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 404     PHP Training in Chennai

Thanks Sebastian, that set of 4 SQL scripts to run solves the problem across a couple of different issues that we've encountered (tab vs module for same date issue).

A reminder to others that I saw mentioned earlier in the thread
- remember that DNN caches page settings heavily, so after you run the sql update, clear the cache of the site... an app restart isn't necessary, but doesn't hurt/accomplishes the same
- and like mentioned, watch for the sql prefix on the table... dnn_Modules vs Modules
