After installing 7.4 into DEV, I noticed that my tags were not working anymore on DNN forum side. Now when installing into STAGING, same thing happened.

As STAGING had a recent db backup from PROD, I was able to compare what happened and found out that upgrade had removed (at least) one module (ContentList) from SearchResult page. Just by looking at row counts, TabModules in PROD has more rows than in STAGING so something else is changed as well.

Is this by purpose or should I be more worried what else is changed like this before moving to PROD?

The content list change is expected - during install/upgrade to 7.4.0 the following is ran -it fixes some html 5 compliance issues, and then removes content list from the seach page, as well as reindexing users

  private static void UpgradeToVersion740()

        {
            string PageHeadTextForUpgrade = "<meta content=\"text/html; charset=UTF-8\" http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" />" + "\n" +
                                               "<meta name=\"REVISIT-AFTER\" content=\"1 DAYS\" />" + "\n" +
                                               "<meta name=\"RATING\" content=\"GENERAL\" />" + "\n" +

                                                "<meta name=\"RESOURCE-TYPE\" content=\"DOCUMENT\" />" + "\n" +
                                                "<meta content=\"text/javascript\" http-equiv=\"Content-Script-Type\" />" + "\n" +
                                                "<meta content=\"text/css\" http-equiv=\"Content-Style-Type\" />" + "\n";
            ArrayList portals = PortalController.Instance.GetPortals();
            foreach (PortalInfo portal in portals)
            {
                PortalController.UpdatePortalSetting(portal.PortalID, "PageHeadText", PageHeadTextForUpgrade);
            }

            RemoveContentListModuleFromSearchResultsPage();
            ReIndexUserSearch();
        }

Ok, why this ContentList was removed? After adding it back manually everything works again as expected and have not noticed any side affects.
