In my custom module if i change the module title using the ModuleConfiguration.ModuleTitle e.g.

this.ModuleConfiguration.ModuleTitle = "My Title"  

it stays cached for the next user . Previously if I did not set the module title when the next user arrives it would go back to the default module title.  It looks like if you set module title programmatically it gets cached.

what type of module is this e.g. the html module has caching enabled automatically

It is a custom module. It is a module I have created.
