I got this trace error after everything was successful on the DNN upgrade - clicked on continue to your site and bingo..

Need some help right away...  and I appreciate anyones help very much!

there seem to be a value in Portalsettings, which is not of the proper type, i.e. it should store a number (in a text field), but the value cannot be converted to a number.
Check Content of PortalSettings table.

I looked in the database - but I'm not sure what's wrong here -  not sure what the value should be and changing one value in Portal settings - said I couldn't.  CreatedOnDate = allow Nulls- ??

Not sure...

There is a Search directory in the App_Data file where there was not one before - and in the file there's a write.lock with 0 bytes could this cause the problem?

I released an updated Version of my AdjustPortalSettings script,
please backup your database (or at least PortalSettings table)
download and run the following script in Host > SQL:

in my case the incorrect setting was SMTPConnectionLimit = "" . Was created in a early version of dnn
