Is it possible to add a list of bank holidays to the event module and highlight them by a color

 That is not quite what I had in mind, I wanted the whole cell of a bank holiday in  different color.
I am using the event calender for keeping track of rooms that are booked against events in an arts centre, so we already have several categories for each room and location.
I wondred if we could somehow load a list of dates from a file and assgn them in code?

So I'm guessing that there is no way to upload a file of general US holidays like you can with Outlook, etc. You would have to input them individually each year?
