Hi all,

I'm somewhat new to managing DNN pages. I was creating a new page which I didn't want visible so I changed the "View Page" checkbox to have a minus in it rather than leaving it blank. Now, even as an Administrator, I can't get to the page. Instead, I get a "You do not have permission to view this page" message.

Ideas on how to get the page back? I've tried forcing parent permissions on the child table with no luck.

Thanks!

Debbie

you should be able to modify permission in Admin > Pages.
Please note to use "deny" only in Special cases, where you Need to exclude a single user or smaller Group from a grant to all or registered users.

Right! That was what I was thinking! But the page doesn't appear in the page list for me to modify. I tried creating a new one with the same name and I'm told it already exists. I tried looking for controls to overwrite a page, replacing the content, and don't see one. I'm at a loss. And unfortunately, I need a page with the name it has.

you may access the database directly and get its TabID ("SELECT TabID FROM Tabs WHERE TabPath Like '....')
Now you may either delete the page or just delete the permissions:
DELETE FROM TabPermission where TabID = ... and allowAccess = 0
You will need to restart DNN application afterwards
