All,

We have changed out log in page for security reasons, and have the old log in url redirecting to a different page. We've also created a new page for logging into the backend of the site. All that works just great... the only issue we are having is that when you are logged in, say editing, and your session times out... you try to edit, and you get the handy popup log in window to re-log in. However, it is pulling in the redirected log in page. How can we change just this pop up to go to the correct page (and we can't use the "Login Page" setting under "Page Management" as this restores the login URL (which we don't want).

Thanks in advance!

Dave

did you make sure, login page is specified correctly in Site Settings?
(you might add your module onto the same page as DNN login module and hide the other one)
You may also consider turning off popups in Site Setttings as well.
Settings persisted cookie timeout to a value of e.g. 20000 (~ 2 Weeks) in web.config to enable "remember me" function properly.

Well... if I specify the new page in Site Settings under Login Page, it re-enables the www.xxxxxxx.com/login URL and uses that to go to the new login page, which is exactly what we don't want, since we have attackers trying to use the www.xxxxxxx.com/login page to access the site.

So we moved the login to a different page, and removed any reference from Site Settings. Now this works great, except for the login popup that pops up if your session has expired. It loads the page that www.xxxxxxx.com/login is being redirected to (not the login page obviously).
