Hi I recently upgraded from DNN 6.2..xx to 7.4 the upgrade was successful but I am not able to access the setting in the home page. I am able to edit access them in all other pages except for this home page. I tried changing home page and setting a different page as home page .even after that I am not able to edit the or access the modules in previous home page but everything works well in the new home page.

This happens only when I upgraded the website but when I tried it on a a new site I didn't face any issues in the home page.

Thanks in Advance

most likely there is some JavaScript code in the skin of the home page, try using layout mode, which suppresses modules to load.

But I have used the same skin in all the pages and even the edit button is not working in the home page. Also everything was working good before I did the update

DNN 6 skins might have difficulties to run in DNN 7 due to changes in treatment of jQuery and jQueryUI. Skins need to register those scripts to DNN and the platform will load it to avoid conflicts with other extensions, which may require same scripts (and double loading might result in defects).
