Hi,

I am running a DNN 7.4.0 site located in US. The site time zone is adjusted as GMT+1 (Stockholm, Vienna, etc). My user time zone is GMT + 1. But all system logs are in the US local time (8 hours difference). How can I achieve a change?

The support of the server has asked me to install a script to calculate the offset, but I do not know how to apply it.

Is there a function in DNN that takes the local time of the server and adjust against the site settings?

 :-)

All suggestions are appreciated!

Have a nice day!

this is a known limitation of most modules that they don't convert the time from server time to user's local time.
do you experience it anywhere in DNN core framework as well?

Hi Sebastian,

This happens f.ex. in the users management. Look at the users login time and you see the server time (machine), not the portal / site time. Same goes for announcements module. Publishing time is server time (machine).

Gunther,
please log user management issue in support.dotnetnuke.com (unless it is logged already), I'll try to have a look at it.
