Hi,

I have a DNN website on the Azure portal at bna.azurewebsites.net. I have set up the DNS with my provider for the domain www.businessnetworkalliance.ca. This is done correctly but when I go to this address, I get a 301 error (permanent re-direct) to bna.azurewebsites.net/en-us. I am told that it would be a DNN configuration error. I have the following aliases in my site:

bna.azurewebsites.net
bna.azurewebsites.net/en-us
bna.azurewebsites.net/fr-ca
www.businessnetworkalliance.ca

All can be deleted except for the one ending in en-us. Does anyone know why I would get re-directed to the azure address?

Thanks

you specify site aliases in site Settings, make sure there is a primary alias per language supported.

I have three sites with the Primary Alias checked off:
bna.azurewebsites.net
bna.azurewebsites.net/en-us
bna.azurewebsites.net/fr-ca

The only one that is not a primary alias is www.businessnetworkalliance.ca.

I'm not sure if this is a factor but this site was developed as a multi-language site and has since been changed to English only but I havent de-activated the French language. Not sure if this is needed but there's no language selector so I left it active. I'm afraid of what will happen if I de-activate it.

Thanks

/en-us will only be used, if there are multiple active languages, / will be used as universal landing page in this case.
